Chris is an Associate for the firm’s market analytics division, where he is responsible for trading strategy and market and price analysis. His role involves working closely to support the ongoing metals and ags education for our clients regarding the factors that may impact prices and the resulting hedge strategies to be deployed.

Chris was born and raised in a small town in southwestern Wisconsin where he started nurturing his skills in commodities by working on local daily farms. Prior to joining AEGIS, Chris was working as a commodity broker servicing agricultural producers throughout the United States. His roles in natural gas (LNG), wealth management, and banking add to his trading execution and strategy experience in energy, grain, and oilseed production.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with additional studies at the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University Wisconsin – Madison and at the Tranel Ranch near Roundup, Montana. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, visiting with his niece and nephew, and attending Formula 1 and IndyCar Races.
